Attention Drivers! Dubai Police Issues Rain Safety Alert

Buckle up for a stormy ride ahead…

With rainy weather on the horizon, Dubai Police are urging motorists to stay safe and abide by traffic rules.

Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazroui, Director of the General Department of Traffic, warned that strict action would be taken against reckless drivers or anyone endangering others on the road. Offenders may face arrest, vehicle impoundment, and legal consequences.

Officials have warned drivers to be extra careful during rain and unstable weather. They say it’s  important to keep a good distance from other cars, avoid distractions like phones or taking pictures, drive slowly and stay away from flood-prone areas.

With more rain expected this week, especially on Wednesday night and Thursday, drivers need to be careful and make safety their top priority.
