Dubai is gearing up for the 31st edition of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), set to kick off from May 6 to 9 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This year, a whopping 41,000 visitors are expected to attend, with over 2,300 exhibitors from 165 countries showcasing their offerings.

The event will feature a diverse range of sessions covering different topics. Issam Abdulrahim Kazim, CEO of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing, will kick things off with a keynote speech about Dubai’s tourism goals and plans. Additionally, a ministerial debate will discuss ways to support tourism growth in the GCC region.

The Market Insights Summit will explore emerging tourism markets like China, India, and Latin America, while the Future Stage will examine hospitality trends in the Middle East.

Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director for the Middle East at Arabian Travel Market, is really pumped about how much it’s grown. There’s been a 26% jump in exhibitors from last year, showing that ATM is a big deal for people in the travel industry worldwide.

Furthermore, there’s a notable rise in interest from travel technology companies, with the Travel Tech section being 58% larger this year. Sustainability remains a priority, with the Sustainability Summit addressing environmental and social concerns in the industry.

Partnering with key entities like Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, Emirates, IHG Hotels & Resorts, and Al Rais Travel, ATM 2024 demonstrates collaborative efforts to enhance tourism in Dubai.

Emirates, the top airline in Dubai, will showcase its new products and eco-friendly practices. Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, said, 

“We’re thrilled to see growth in ATM visitor numbers. It reflects confidence in our industry and ATM’s importance on the global stage.”
