Dubai’s CDA launches relief campaign for rain-affected citizens…

Dubai’s Community Development Authority (CDA) has kicked off a special campaign to help people hit hard by heavy rains. Following the orders of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, the CDA launched the campaign to provide immediate aid to those affected by the bad weather.

The campaign, called ‘Tadhamon’ (solidarity), is part of the larger ‘Committee for Assisting Weather-Affected Citizens in Dubai’, set up under Sheikh Hamdan’s guidance. It’s a chance for businesses, individuals, and anyone willing to chip in to lend a hand to people whose homes and belongings got damaged during the recent rough weather.

Using the ‘Jood’ platform, the CDA makes it easy for people to contribute and track the progress of the campaign in real-time. Her Excellency Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, Director General of the CDA, praised the community’s unity and resilience during tough times. She pointed out the big support from businesses and individuals eager to help.

The ‘Jood’ platform simplifies the process, so anyone can easily donate money to help those affected by the weather. The platform is a central place for various donations supporting healthcare, education, and social programs. It ensures that donations are managed transparently and efficiently, strengthening Dubai’s social connections.

The committee is on standby to address requests from citizens affected by the recent rains promptly, making sure their needs are met swiftly and effectively.
