UAE Weather Alert – Unstable Conditions Expected from March 24 to March 26

Get ready for a weather phenomenon brewing over the UAE with whispers of rainfall on the horizon…

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather warning for the UAE, effective from Sunday, March 24, to Tuesday, March 26. Residents are urged to take necessary precautions and stay hydrated, especially during peak daytime temperatures.

According to the NCM, the forecast indicates partly cloudy to cloudy conditions, particularly near coastal regions and in the western areas. Cloud cover may intensify later in the day, particularly towards the eastern parts of the UAE. Residents may experience a drop in temperatures, notably along the coast, with a possibility of light to moderate rainfall in scattered areas.

Additionally, there is a likelihood of increased relative humidity during nighttime and Friday morning, especially in coastal and internal areas. Motorists in Abu Dhabi are advised to exercise caution due to reported foggy conditions in certain parts of the city. The NCM has issued red and yellow weather alerts, indicating low visibility on the roads in affected areas.

Furthermore, the NCM warns of gentle to moderate winds, occasionally becoming stronger and causing dust stir-ups. Sea conditions are expected to remain relatively calm, with small to medium waves in the Arabian Gulf and small waves in the Oman Sea.

Temperatures across the UAE will vary, with cooler temperatures expected in the mountainous regions around 15ºC, while hotter temperatures reaching up to 38ºC are expected elsewhere.
